... was the man behind Polly Peck's rise to become a FTSE 100 listed company in the 1980s. He fled to his native Cyprus following the group's collapse, and remained a fugitive there until 2010. He then returned to the UK, and in 2012 he was found guilty on ten charges of theft and sentenced to ten years in jail.
